Correct sealing of the AdBlue® system

The cover of the urea filter housing is an important part in the maintenance of modern trucks. A good AdBlue® Urea Filter Housing Cap seals the filter housing completely and prevents leaks. This keeps the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system clean and free from malfunctions that can be caused by contamination or pressure loss.

Replacement including sealing ring

When replacing the urea filter, it is advisable to also replace the cap. The febi caps are supplied as an 'AdBlue® Urea Filter Housing Cap with sealing ring'. This new sealing ring ensures a leak-free installation, which is necessary because AdBlue® can crystallise on contact with air and block the system.
